These bugs get their name from being found on or around maple, ash and boxelder trees. Characterized by their bright red/orange bodies when young, that become vibrant markings on their black or dark brown bodies as they age. Boxelder bugs congregate outdoors sunning themselves on warm walls, rocks or trees during the warmer days of fall and spring, but move into small cracks and crevices to overwinter once cooler temperatures prevail.
Cal-Rid Pest Control offers custom solutions depending on if treatment is required inside the home, outside or both.
