Kevin of CalRid takes his job very seriously. He was very thorough in dealing with a mice issue at our apartment building. He communicated exactly what he did to rectify the problem and highlighted weak areas that need to be addressed. My experiences with CalRid have always been very positive. The Cal-Rid team is amazing! I've had three different wasps nests on my property this summer (July-August 2024) leading to me, and some others, getting a few nasty stings.The first was a huge paper nest high on the roof's eaves, way too high to reach without a ladder. Later, I had two yellow-jacket nests in cracks under the patio steps and in the front yard.Cal-Rid immediately sent out their specialists who each time destroyed the nests immediately, spraying white powder insecticide directly into the nests and killing the yellow jackets and wasps for good.The guys (and one young lady) were super efficient, friendly and took the time to explain things to me.... how that professional-strength white powder needs to get to be brought by the wasps to the larvae for the whole colony to die ... how the stuff I'd bought myself, Raid Wasp and Hornet spray, isn't strong enough to do the trick, and in fact can just make those wasps angrier.I learned that a good sized nest, like the paper one I had, can have four hundred wasps. So in addition to pest removal, I got a bit of science education, too. Haha!Been stung a LOT by wasps over the course of my life, and I'm done with trying to handle them by myself.You've got to go with the professionals, and I give Cal-Rid Pest Control the highest recommendation.Plus, their dispatcher, Nancy, is one of the friendliest people I've ever talked to. Great company!

I sent an email at night and was contacted first thing in the morning. They sent a team out to remove a nest of wasps that had made a home in my eavestrough above my door. They were so friendly, so quick and efficient and gone before I knew it. Everyone from Nancy who booked my appointment to the two heroes that climbed the 20 ft to remove the menace 😊 were so friendly and kind. Would highly recommend this team in the future. Phenomenal customer service - Nancy and her tech team went the distance. Had issues with carpet beetles suddenly in my rental after a tenant was evicted during swift building owner sale to new owner an. Tried everything before spraying through many phone calls and emails but in the end had to spray twice.

This is the 2nd year Cal-Rid has come to the Rescue. Last year I had hornets/wasps and one visit from the pros at Cal-Rid and no more wasps. Today they saved the day by taking care of some sort of bees that had a nest in the ground where my dayhome kids play.Wonderful people work there from the folks that answer to the phones to the technicians who get the job done.

Very impressed with the professionalism and compassion being demonstrated in handling our very challenging situation. We are dealing with dementia and hoarding and a huge mouse infestation in an elderly parent's house where the problem had been ignored and kept secret while it got out of control. Kevin has been our technician and he is excellent. We are finally making some progress with the nightmare in the house and Kevin has been very helpful and understanding on top of doing a great job. Nancy and Iris in the office have also been wonderful.

I was going to hire but the lady who answered the phone was very rude, unhelpful and could understand english very good. Asked her if they could get rid of spiders and earwigs. Her response " I don't know I'll have to get someone to contact you". Seriously this is your JOB! I can not believe this person is hired. Hired for what? just answering the phone and refusing to help customers.I see the company responded and I find it very interesting that the company somehow magically knows when I called, my name and number to see that I called outside a certain time frame. Talk about gaslighting and a total disregard. Can't hire an "answering service'" where the person actually knows what the company does then why hire someone! Get a answering machine, that would be more helpful.

Terrible customer service and booking. While the lady you speak to on the phone is very friendly, I've had multiple issues with them getting dates wrong or not cancelling when asked.I called these guys about a month ago for a treatment. First they got the date I agreed on wrong and showed up days early trying to get into my building. When I called them to see what was going on they reiterated they had me down for that day even though it was never agreed upon. Got a new appointment set up weeks later.I ended up going with another provider and called to cancel my appointment which was set for last Friday. All of a sudden I'm getting a call today on Thursday where they're asking me to confirm tomorrow's appointment. What appointment?Not only did I cancel the service weeks ago but they didn't even have the date right AGAIN.So they don't book you correctly and they don't cancel appointments when asked. Cool.

kevin was very knowledgeable regarding our pigeon problem. Did an assessment when he came. Also gave me more helpful tips to deter the pigeons or other birds from returning. Very friendly, pleasant, courteous and respectful when entering our home answered all my questions.

These people are great to work with and they have a sense of morals and ethics regarding sentient beings that are deemed " pests"They are not just about making money. They have standards and that can be difficult to find in this industry. Nancy is an absolute gem as well!

I had them to exterminate mices in my house and ended up with more mices jumping up and down yhe house... They give 3 month warrantee but they do not honor it. I ended up with another provider and paied for both!!!!The second provider was all right.

We had noise coming from the walls in the basement and my son was all stressed out. Nancy took my call and said Aura will be there in 20 minutes. They both were amazing and empathetic. Aura took care of everything and even went above and beyond to seal the walls so that similar incidents dont happen again. Thank you Nancy and Aura. Cal- Rid was hired by Calgary Housing to come to my house. The first two visits were fine. The third has been horrible. I contacted both Calgary Housing and Cal-Rid to inform them that I have dogs and I have to be home for the appointment. I specifically specified that then cannot enter.....my 16 year old daughter was home (no ones business) I took time off work for the appointment. They showed up early and guess what.....attempted to enter my home with the Calgary Housing Rep. They violated the safety of my daughter, my dogs and violated my sense of security. It was a good thing I took extra precaution to make sure they couldnt enter. Complete disregard for the safety of the employee and the tenants. Very dissapointing.

I phoned 3 other pest control companies and was put on hold for each one. I then phoned Cal-Rid and the phone was answered immediately by a very friendly person. Fantastic company to deal with from start to finish. I had an ant infestation in my backyard underneath my deck. The customer service at Cal-Rid is excellent with quick booking. The technician Glen arrived at the scheduled time and treated the area and other parts of the backyard where ants are located. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The price was very reasonable. I will certainly use Cal-Rid Exterminators for future pest control.
